Style for moms | #MomLife

I definitely got my love for fashion & style from my mom. She was the hottest & the coolest. When I was younger, we would go shopping almost every day after school. She had the coolest clothes & I was always trying to borrow them. Looking back, I have a feeling people probably looked at her as a super cool mom. Moms are superheros with or without style, we all know this. But when you are at the grocery store and see a mom with a toddler and heels on, you know in your head you are like -- what is my excuse? She has a child & is killing me, I need to step my game up!!

I am excited to launch a new series: #MomLife. Twice a month I will be sharing different looks that are mom approved & stylish.

Moms tend to have a hard time putting themselves first. Which is beautiful. But you have to remember that you are your own person! I have seen clients lives and attitudes change entirely by spending a little more time getting dressed in the morning, and being able to feel good about themselves as they run around with their kids all day. Allow yourself that extra 5 minutes to get ready!

Style for moms. How to look cute. Mom style.

Look 1 is the perfect comfy + cool look. This will be me as a mom (TBH it is me right now;). If you love wearing leggings everyday but feel it is lazy or uncool -- simply step your game up with some extra stylish leggings! Alo & Lululemon have a ton of dope styles. And if you aren't feeling like spending $100+ on leggings (which most of us are not), stores like Forever 21 have created similar leggings. Add a fun sneaker & accessories, and your lame leggings outfit just became cool & chic.

Look 2 is for the Anthro loving mom. Pretty, boho & chic is how you like to roll. As long as you aren't feeding your kid spahgetti, this look is perfect for a mommy day of running around. If you don't already own white sneakers, I recommend you buy a pair. They look great with any casual outfit. I love wearing all black, with white sneakers. Overalls + jumpsuits are incredibly comfortable. I recommend finding the right fit and style, and buying 10 :) pair with a hat & white sneakers and you have a new uniform. You're welcome.

Look 3 is for the hipster mom. I love the power of a good hat! It can dress up an outfit as simple as jeans and a striped tee. Also love the power of sunglasses, because sometimes we just want to be undercover. Every woman needs a good military cargo jacket as well. Just make sure to get one that gives you shape, or it will be very unflattering! I like this cropped one paired with high waisted jeans.

Stay tuned to see future #momlife posts featuring style advice from some of my fav mommas :)
